How It Works
Step 1: Enroll Now & Save $100’s
Enroll in our state-approved parent taught course and save $100’s off Instructor fees.
STEP 2: Choose Instructor
Your Instructor can be your parent, step-parent, grandparent, foster parent or another person that qualifies.
STEP 3: Order PTDE Guide
Your instructor must complete a short, online-designation form to officially register with TDLR.

STEP 4: Complete Module 1
Complete Module 1, take your Official DPS Permit test (included) and download your instant digital certificate
STEP 5: Apply for Your Permit
Once you get your Learner License (permit) from DPS, you can start your in-car instruction with your designated-instructor
STEP 6: Complete PHASE II
Complete Modules 2-12 and the 14 & 30 Hour Driving Logs, Download the Final Certificate and Schedule your Driving Test
STEP 7: Apply for Your License
Once you complete the course and the ITTD Video, you can schedule your Driving Test with DPS or an approved 3rd Party Tester.
